We have set out to provide everything that we as a family would like to find when away on holiday and everything is built and maintained to a high standard.

The activity room, called The Link, is a large, communal, multipurpose space with a wooden table seating up to 14, ideal for leisurely family breakfasts or late-night candlelit discussions. The room can be used by everyone and is often a place for meeting other families staying at Lombard, including ours!

Facilities include:

• Extra showers, ideal after a day on the beach
• Drying room for boots, coats and wetsuits
• Large barbecue area & table in the meadow
• Beautiful wood-fired hot tub with views down to the river
• Over 5 acres of meadow for picnics and games
• Large outside area with seating and barbecue for each house
• Massive hammock for the whole family!
• New for 2009 will be a large tipi on a wooden base
• Large, warm communal area with table seating 14
• Babysitting and grocery delivery service
• Massage, aromatherapy and yoga sessions
• Plenty of parking
• WiFi broadband available in the Link
• MP3/Ipod hookup to amplifier

We also have a small area for camping, which can be used by guests as a 'spare room', please ask David for details.
