We know that the first few days of a holiday can be tied up with lot of organisation and logistics, so if you would like to arrange a few things in advance please read on:
Firstly if you are staying in the Red or Blue House your holiday price includes; the use of all facilities, electricity, underfloor central heating, a large load of logs for the wood-burner, cotton bed linen, towels (please bring your own beach/hot tub towels), fresh flowers, and a bottle of Cornish apple juice!
For the yurt your holiday price includes all cooking equipment, plates etc., fresh flowers, logs for the wood-burner and a bottle of Cornish apple juice. It also includes the use of the Link for hot showers, an extra area for cooking and eating and where you also have your own fridge! We provide pillows and duvets, but please bring your own towels, sheets and duvet covers or sleeping bags, alternatively we can provide double or single sets at £15 each, please indicate in the booking form if you would like us to provide bedding.
For the Tipi, the price includes the use of the Link, as an extra area for cooking, eating and showers, use of the hot tub and all amenities, logs for the outside fire-pit, fresh flowers, a delicious bottle of Cornish apple juice. Sleeping mats are provided but please bring your own bedding and towels.
Tesco Direct can deliver groceries, and if let us know in time we can unpack and store any food ready for your arrival.
If you are planning some cooking and healthy eating you could arrange for an organic 'veg box' from Riverford Farm which is delivered on a Friday, (even though on their website it states that they deliver on a Wednesday!) We use them and can recommend the quality of their fruit and veg.
This site detailing all food from Cornwall is well worth a look www.foodfromcornwall.co.uk
You could also try some excellent organic meat from the Russell family at Churchtown Farm nearby, telephone 01726 870375, ideal for barbecues.
Our local pub is the Ferry Inn at Bodinnick which is a twenty minute walk away or the Ship Inn at Lerryn which is a 15 minute drive, there are also good local pubs and excellent restaurants in Fowey.
